I have been making hats for cancer patients for nearly a year or so. I have been in contact with Sharon one of the ladies I make hats for that is going through a hard time with cancer and fighting off infections.
I wrote her today letting her know that I will be mailing her a package in the next day or so.
She wanted to buy yarn for me, but said was to weak and wanted to send money. Told her thanks but no need. I do this as a blessing to bless other and to put a smile on their face.
She wrote:
You bring joy to so many. You are a blessing.
"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me" Matthew 25:35-40
Wanted to share
I am a happily married Christian who has been married for 38 years to my BEST friend.
In 2009 I died in my sleep from a heart attack. If it had not been for the Lord using my husband that night I would not be here today. Christ showed up that night and brought me back for a second chance at life.
I started Hearts of Angels to minister to and help others. I make hats and blankets for adults and children with cancer and donate them to the hospitals cancer department. All donations I receive are used to purchase supplies needed to make these items.
